The brief
GoalNet needed a real-time World Cup platform that felt like a broadcast-grade experience. Live scores, historical data, and a Hall of Fame, all in one place.
What I built
A Vue 3 and Inertia.js application with animated score-flip scoreboards, mini-pitch visualisations, a year-by-year champions timeline from 1930 to today, possession bars, last-events ticker, and a Hall of Fame with all-time top scorers and trophy cabinets. Data syncs in real-time via API.
The result
A platform that handled thousands of concurrent users during match days without performance issues. The timeline became the most-visited page, driving organic search traffic year-round.
